[FALL 표현]

1. fall asleep = to start to sleep
2. fall down = to fall to the ground
3. fall apart = 낡아서 망가지다 (관계에서도 사용 가능) / something old or beginning to break down

> my bag is falling apart. so I have to buy a new one.

4. fall behind = 뒤처지다
                         to fail to do something fast enough or on time / behind in sometime like competitions

5. fall off = drop / decrease in number, amount, intensity, or quality.

> I didn't want to be fall behind, but my opponent did so well.

6. fall out = (어딘가에 지속적으로 붙어있던 것이) 떨어지다.
                   to drop from a place where it was 'attached or contined'
                   e.g. A few pages fell out of the book.

7. fall for = start to love someone / fall in love with SOMEONE
8. fall through = fail

> She fell for him because he is her ideal type.

 

[NEW EXPRESSIONS]

* foreigner [noun][fɔːrənə(r); fɑːrənə(r)]
= a person who comes from another country.

* look for vs search vs find
1) look for = search
- focus more on the process of looking.
e.g. We looked for(searched for) the missing ring.

2) find
- focuses more on the final step of the looking process.
- to discover something not present before.
e.g. We found the missing ring. it was just in my pocket.

*while we're young
- 빨리 빨리 (우리가 아직 어릴 때 빨리하라는 의미)
