*관사 ARTICLES (a/an, the, -)

a/an	- not specific -only the speaker knows about the thing they're talking about.  ex) I bought a house yesterday.
the	- specific - a. second time to mention the thing ex) Person A: I bought a house.  Person B: Really? How much was the house?  -b. first time to mention but it is described  ex) I bought the house that I saw last year.
No Article	- very specific - pronouns and ('s) ex) I bought John's house.  I bought his house.

불가산 명사와 쓰이는 것	가산 명사와 쓰이는 것
every much less little - less/lesser - least	all many few - fewer - fewest

*every/each + 단수와 쓰임
*good vs well
1) good은 형용사(adj)
2) well은 형용사, 부사 (adj, adv)
- 형용사로 쓰일 땐 거의 healthy의 의미
- 부사로 쓰일 땐 잘한다는 의미

*look은 가끔 be동사처럼 동작함
e.g. you look sad(happy)

* night도 일정 기간을 의미하는데 왜 at을 사용할까?
- night은 보통 별다른 activity가 없는 시간을 의미
-> 대부분의 경우 at night 을 사용
-> 특별한 경우 in the night으로 사용 (도둑질 등)

*hoarse = 목이 쉰

  • one이 o가 아니라 w발음이 나기 때문에 굳이 a/an을 쓰려면 a가 맞고, 보통은 the one으로 쓰인다.
